A Quarter in Motion: Rebelle Management South Africa's Q1 2026

Q1 2026 has been one of the most dynamic quarters in Rebelle Management South Africa's history. Across film and television, music, media, and lifestyle, our roster has moved with intention - deepening brand relationships, stepping into new creative territory, and making their presence felt in rooms that matter.

This is our Q1 2026 Roster Report.

ON SCREEN

Prince Grootboom has had a quarter that will define this chapter of his career. He returned as Jacob in Fatal Seduction Season 3, which premiered globally on Netflix on 13 March 2026. And then, on 17 April, he took his first lead role in the Netflix thriller 180 - a film that has since been named the #1 watched movie on Netflix globally. Over 10.4 million Instagram views this quarter alone. The moment to move on Prince is now.

Hope Mbhele joined the Fatal Seduction Season 3 cast as Kimberly, a pivotal new character whose shocking death sets the season's central mystery in motion. Having two Rebelle clients in the same Netflix production, in roles central to the narrative, is a moment we are genuinely proud of.
Hope's quarter extended well beyond the screen. She co-hosted Red Bull Shay iMoto for the second consecutive year, MCed the Carling x Kaiser Chiefs launch and the Honor X9 launch, hosted the VIP arrival at the Soweto Derby with SuperSport, and co-hosted the Corona Sunset Festival with DJ Sabby. On the brand side, she has active campaigns with Emporio Armani You, Dyson Airwrap, Dark & Lovely, and Eucerin. She continues as a SuperSport presenter on The Lineup every Thursday - and is now confirmed to attend FIFA in June/July 2026, with SuperSport and DOVE, with additional brand partnership and content opportunities available.

MUSIC & CULTURE

Filah Lah Lah has re-signed as Maybelline Africa's beauty ambassador, with new campaigns across multiple product ranges in the pipeline. She has unveiled a bold new brand imagery and confirmed as a panellist at the Africa Rising Music Conference 2026 for the session "Building an Artist: Sound, Storytelling, Team & Career Strategy."

Mikhalé Jones has had a packed quarter. She dropped the Toxic Trends remix featuring Amos, delivered a digital performance on 947’s Instagram page, attended the H&M A/W Sound Lounge, the Trace Ngoma launch, and the NYX Bridgerton Baddie Tea. Her new single Morals featuring Kash CPT is out 24 April, and she makes her Cape Town performance debut on Sunday 24 May at Selective Live and Black Brick.

Simmy is in album mode with new music on the way. She attended the Basketball Africa League in Pretoria this quarter. Her single You Try reached 8.2 million YouTube views in just five months - hitting one million views within the first seven days of release. One of South Africa's most celebrated voices, with a deeply loyal audience that keeps growing.

BRAND & WELLNESS

Lunathi Mampofu has had a landmark quarter. Her L'Oréal Revitalift partnership has reached five million combined views across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok - a testament to the depth of her connection with her audience. Inimba, where she plays lead character Zoleka Mabandla, won Most Popular TV Soap/Telenovela by Public Vote at the SAFTAs on 14 March 2026. She is also a Jameson Select Reserve ambassador, attended the brand's Cape Town event, and was invited by the royal family to attend the annual Buganu Festival at the Royal Residence at Buhleni, Eswatini - a cultural honor that speaks to the reach of her personal brand.

Lesego Khoza has launched her Nivea Epicellar partnership, with activations across social and experiential platforms centred on the brand's cell rejuvenation campaign.

Olwethu Leshabane launched her Serelys perimenopause campaign, is pursuing her doula certification, and is relaunching her Art of Superwoman platform. She is also an avid golfer and open to golf-adjacent brand conversations.

Gina Koffman is soft-launching the Legae Hiking Club on Saturday 2 May with a 5K hike. She is also launching a few new scents with Therapy & Co, and continues to build out her Pause Sessions wellness IP for corporate and brand events. She was a guest at the Rupert & Rothschild Salon Series this quarter.

MEDIA & BROADCASTING

Kim Jayde has had a defining quarter. She co-hosted and produced In The Shark Tank - a digital show for the Sharks rugby team, via her production company KJ Productions. She was named the face of FAME Week Africa 2026, MCed the Imprint Store Launch at Mall of Africa and the Moose SA Tour in both Johannesburg and Cape Town. She was part of the Joburg Superkings cricket campaign, attended the GHD Speed launch and Vaseline Soft Girl events, lent her voice to the Milk & Cookies Johannesburg entertainment industry panel discussion, attended courtside the Basketball Africa League in Pretoria, and the Maison Martell popup launch. She heads to Cannes in June 2026 via KJ Productions as a speaker, with international brand alignment opportunities available. She is also a confirmed moderator at ARMC 2026 for "Building an Artist: Sound, Storytelling, Team & Career Strategy."

NEW TO THE ROSTER

This quarter we welcomed four new clients to Rebelle Management South Africa.

Nox Dlamini stars as Sindi in Netflix's 180, alongside Prince Grootboom - a film already named the #1 watched movie on Netflix globally. She also reprises her lead role in the iconic stage production Sarafina, a landmark theatrical moment for one of South Africa's most gifted performers.

Noni Khumalo is a producer, broadcaster, and established YFM host joining our media division. Her show Ready, Set, Hired airs every Saturday from 9-10am on YFM, and she hosts the On The Beat segment on Trendz Live on SABC, Fridays at 7:30pm. Brand integration opportunities are available in careers and lifestyle.

Didintle Khunou is one of South Africa's most compelling stage and screen talents - an award-winning actress and singer who recently featured on “Spotlight Theatre Talk”, produced by Joburg Theatre, and served as a JBX Ambassador for the Joburg Film Festival 2026.

Mamodibe Ramodibe starred in Nobody Told Me at Theatre on the Square in a January-February 2026 run, has taken on the new character Buang in Showmax's Outlawz Season 2, and is available for speaking engagements and panel discussions.

We are also expanding into West Africa. The recent addition of Joselyn Dumas - celebrated Ghanaian actress, TV host, and entrepreneur - opens exciting cross-continental brand opportunities. More to come.
